ONE AMAZING DAY!
Something amazing happened on May 25, 2018 at the El Masfino Hotel as the MMSM team came together for their Annual Team Conference (ATC). This is the team’s fifth and this year’s theme is One MOL. One MMSM. Amazing Race. The day kicked-off with an amazing race as each team accomplished the goals of the five stations. Along the way in performing the race, they unearthed learnings and valuable realizations. The amazing race ended with the Blast as the players hurled their colors on the three canvasses; the color mix created beautiful hues; an artistic representation of MMSM as an Amazing Race. Spot these canvasses next time you visit MMSM office.
Beside engaging the staff to a day of fun and laughter, this year’s ATC also aimed to achieve the following management objectives:
- Focus – Make each member understand that MMSM’s goals can only be achieved through collective and individual accountability and timely feedback.
- Team Effectiveness – Make the people capable of joint performance, to make their strengths effective and their weaknesses irrelevant.
- Inter-team Sensitivity – Build awareness and sensitivity for the needs of other members and teams of the organization.
- Celebration – Catch the energy and release the potential.
- Attitude of Gratitude – Cultivate the iAppreciate
Lessons gained from the Amazing Race were further emphasized in the afternoon events. One of the major activities of the afternoon session was the WIG cascade per team. After the cascade, each team was asked to create their 2018 Team’s Battle Cry see below for the 4 teams’ amazing output.
May 25 was full of energy, passion and creativity. The outcome of MMSM’s ATC 2018 indeed lived-up to its theme, One MOL, ONE MMSM, AMAZING RACE; an event when the MMSM TEAM demonstrated ONENESS in a special way and proved once more that they are AN AMAZING RACE!
