MMSM TEAM CONFERENCE- MISSION POSSIBLE
“MISION POSSIBLE: Making the Impossible Possible Together”. The MMSM Team Conference 2017 campaign “STRONGER TOGETHER” in collaboration with Ms. Joy Dantis of Doughouse Creative Design and Marketing was held last May 26, 2017, at El Masfino Hotel and Resort in San Rafael Bulacan.
This year’s Team Conference was about the MMSM 2017 Possibilities of Leadership confidence on the visionary leadership of MMSM President Mr. Vicente Pono (VAP) and the four (4) Department Heads namely Capt. Marvin Villa (MTV) Marine/QAC Department, C/E Ariel Montenid (AFM) Technical Department, Mr. Renato Robles (RTR) FAA department, and Ms. Jocelyn Angeles (JLA) Procurement department. The leader’s goals are to foster their team to attain Zero level attrition, to advocate career growth, succession planning, and drive towards business agility.
The first part of the program starts with the parade making its way to the conference venue followed by the National Anthem and Opening Prayer. The program starts right away with the presentation of the four department heads, their presentation covers Department’s mission, vision, 2016 Milestones and Slippages, Strategies, Tactical Plans, Financials, and future plans and Innovations.
The program becomes more significant when Mr. Vicente A. Pono (VAP) gave his talk and thanked everyone for their efforts that brought MMSM to where it is today. VAP stressed that the purposeful leadership is the key to inspire an organizational culture. He also emphasized that MMSM is the only ship management company able to meet the target and said that all these were made possible by the contributions of every single member of the MMSM team. VAP thanked the team and emphasized that all their work, sacrifices, and help contribute to the achievement of MMSM goals.
The most exciting and thrilling part of the program is the competition; the MMSM employees were able to showcase their musical, acting, and dancing talents. They responded positively and have participated with enthusiasm.
Indeed, this event gave employees and management an opportunity to share, learn, enjoy laughs and build their team spirit.
